Gogo Bananas! .. In New Zealand

Image
I've been a very lucky gal this past week as I've had the opportunity to explore New Zealand whilst working on a project. Tauranga is a beautifully lonely suburb, full of diversely rich architecture that astounds me for a town of its size. Everyday I walk down the street, smile at a new face and daydream like I'm in one of my beloved films Columbia whilst looking like a "get smart" character... Banana courtesy of the cute AF Opshop I was in The banana phone is still iconic FYI The local 'Fush and Chups' pics below ;) Tauranga. You've treated me well. One more day (and another fab outfit of course) before I'm back in plain old Sydney.  Laneikka x Instagram: @grunge_children Tumblr: undergroundgrunge.tumblr.com Contact: undergroundgrunge@hotmail.com Wanna wear ma clothes?  Buy them at: @grungechildrenstore  www.depop.com/laneikka

Only Seventeen.

Yesterday I became not only a dancing queen but one that was seventeen. (I've waited seventeen years to make that ABBA reference...) The teenage years are the strangest ones and each year I feel like I completely alter the way I see, think and feel about the world and I can't wait to continue to grow, learn and continue to be the 'dancing queen'...  I had such a beautiful day yesterday wondering the streets of Sydney with those I love the most, great food, seeing theatre all conquered whilst wearing one of the prettiest dresses I've ever seen let only owned. P.S I got this fur coat for $25 at my local op shop just a few days ago.... It may of been the best 'thrift' I've ever found.  All Vintage x  Dress-The Very Bazaar  Laneikka x Instagram: @grunge_children Tumblr: undergroundgrunge.tumblr.com Contact: undergroundgrunge@hotmail.com Wanna wear ma clothes?  Buy them at: @grungechildr...

Red Gingham X Frankies Factory

Image
Hey Grunge Kids, Top + Dress + Blazer + Bag + Choker = Vintage x I had such a pleasant afternoon. Sitting with my favourite woman of all; my mother, a cup of coffee in the cutest, quaintest diner in the middle of a flower warehouse, also known as 'Frankie's Factory' right here on the outskirts of Sydney. I unintentionally was lucky enough to match the knick-knack decor to the exact. (Hence the title of this blog: Red gingham on Red Gingham!) I'd 100 percent recommend Frankie's, go have a nice lil hipster chill in an up-done warehouse with a side of donut fries (I know they sound insane... They are.) Wanna go visit Frankie's? www.frankiesfoodfactory.com Laneikka x Instagram: @grunge_children Tumblr: undergroundgrunge.tumblr.com Contact: undergroundgrunge@hotmail.com Steal my look? depop.com/laneikka or @grungechildrenstore on Instagram

Hey Grunge Kids, This 'lil' number is a Modern-Day Quirky Sydney girl's tribute to one of my all-time favourite Swedish personalities 'ABBA' this combo is a mixture of vibrancy and groove, embedding Abba's fun, bright nearly screaming personality into this look. I'll be wearing a tonne more crazy stuff like this next week. With a whole lot more blogs to come as I'm going to Fashion Week for the third year in a row! You'll hear lots of stuff from me next week at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2018! Stay tuned x Laneikka xoxoxo

Golfer.

Hey Grunge Kids,  Went to the markets today, planning on getting a stall for Grunge Children Store very soon. Sydney kids keep a look out on my Instagram for when the stall will be at the markets! I also got this amazing hat. It makes me look like a golfer. So I wear it...
